Initial experimentation with monkey skulls and seeing how I can take a realistic one and stylize it in a way which I can use myself. Experimenting with different shapes and features.
This design was inspired by a water stain which I stumbled across one day. It was a simple silhouette which I noticed was reminiscent of a monkey sitting down in a profile angle. I then used that and added the various details and elements. Reworking the design until I was happy with it.
MONKEY - LEBLK DESIGN
Recently I have been doing some work for the emerging Dutch/Irish fashion brand LeBlk Apparel. They specialize in urban streetwear and skatewear and I was asked to do some freelance work for them, designs which will be printed on T-Shirts of various shapes, colours and sizes This was one of the main designs that I did recently for them.
