PANDA

Here I really wanted to test myself so I decided to try a character that was not a human jet still humanoid. I eventually decided on a Panda and then went about designing how he was going to look and so forth, being influenced by Asian and Oriental cultures, settling on a kind of martial arts panda. I also wanted to experiment with more bold colours, deciding to go with the complimentary pair of Green and Purple to create a nice contrast between the various elements of the design and also allowing me to have cooler shadows and rendering - this is the result of this short project/investigation.

The final rendered image for the Panda. I used the complimentary colour palette of Green and Purple (with a cooler purple used for the rendering shadows) to create a strong contrast.
