THE WORKSHOP

This illustration was inspired by the workshop room that I have in my house. When illustrating it digitally I wanted to create a dark and grimy cyberpunk/ sci-fi feel. Imagining that this scene takes place in a dark dystopian future in a dank basement.

Not all of the elements in the image were initially present in real life (eg, The robot arm and the grimy pipes). And the colour scheme was a split complimentary of a cool green and a purple-red. With the bright, neon cyan used to draw attention to certain areas of the image while also distributing the colours to create a separation between the major elements and the background elements.
